B.Sc. in Psychology, Master in Education; Fellow in Public Health of the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization in partnership with the School of Public Health of the University of Texas, Health Science Center at Houston. PhD. in Public Health of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Currently, Director of the Research & Development Office, and Senior Researcher of the Economía, Gestión y Salud Research Group (Category A1 Minciencias) at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, Colombia (PUJC). Between 2011-2013 and 2016- 2021, Director and Full Professor of the Department of Public Health and Epidemiology (PUJC). With research projects on HIV/AIDS, gender and social inequalities in health, chronic diseases, health services accessibility and health innovation. Co-author and editor of books, an important number of chapters of books, articles in indexed scientific journals, conferences by invitation and papers presented in scientific conferences.
