Resumen
The objective of this review article was to address the different advances in gender equality practices in organizations in three Latin American countries. It highlights the value of gender equality programs or initiatives that position the commitment of organizations to human rights, decent work and social justice. However, there are challenges within organizational culture in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of those programs. This article emphasizes the importance of making a multidimensional understanding and anchoring between individual processes, organizational practices and organizational culture in order to eliminate discriminatory norms and exclusion practices generated by the various biases and gender stereotypes that are reproduced within organizations on issues such as work-family reconciliation, exercise of leadership, workload, remuneration and lack of knowledge about gender.
