Jesús Perdomo-Ortiz has been associated with Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 2006 and currently holds the position of Full Professor in the Department of Business Administration. He is actively involved in teaching responsibilities within the undergraduate Business Administration program, as well as the master's degrees in Sustainability Management and Strategy, Innovation, and Competitiveness. His research focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Sustainability, Innovation, and Strategy.

Over the years, he has conducted various research projects on topics of interest within both the private and public sectors. From 2006 to 2007, he served as the director of the Department of Business Administration. Additionally, he has worked as a consultant at the CID, Development Research Center of the National University of Colombia.

His current research interests primarily revolve around Social Responsibility and Sustainability. Professor Jesús Perdomo-Ortiz has published a significant number of original research articles, accumulating over 1600 citations in highly esteemed international peer-reviewed journals. Furthermore, he actively contributes as a reviewer for various indexed journals within his area of expertise.
