This works aims to characterize the current shared discourses abou t labour, family and fun found in the narratives of peasant natives in Trujillo Valle del Cauca Colombia. This article is focused in labour and armed conflict only. Armed conflict was found as an emergent category due to the acts of violence they lived in the past. Methodology: Qualitative research. The data were collected through unstructured interviews. Collection and Analysis of the Information: We made six interviews. Four of them were individual, and two were by groups. The participants were chosen it they met the following criteria: natives which have lived most of the time in their home town, and which have had experience as leaders of their communities. Analysis of content was the technique used by the analysis of the interviews. The results are showed by frequency, intensity and parallel occurrence. Main results: We found discourses sharing a generational gap in peasant labor continuity, and still pain and desire of reparation in spite of the fact that the violent facts happened about 25 years ago.
