Resumen

Según el modelo de reconciliación basado en necesidades los mecanismos transicionales pueden reconciliar cuando satisfacen la necesidad de agencia/estatus en las víctimas. Este estudio evaluó el impacto reconciliatorio de la política transicional de reparación a víctimas del conflicto armado que se implementa en Colombia. Una muestra de 135 víctimas de violencia política participó en un estudio transversal que evaluó el efecto de la reparación en el sentimiento de reconciliación, usando las escalas de mera coexistencia y de reconstrucción de confianza. Contrario a la intención de la política, las víctimas reparadas presentaron niveles menores de reconciliación que las no reparadas, independientemente de la exposición a la violencia, la comprensión de la justicia y las actitudes sociales. Los resultados sugieren que las limitaciones en el proceso de implementación de las reparaciones pueden estar frustrando la necesidad de agencia/estatus en las víctimas, obstaculizando el proceso de reconciliación.
