Resumen

Este artículo presenta y analiza críticamente ideas clave de La política del devenir de Hans Asenbaum, destacando su importancia para el pensamiento democrático contemporáneo. Examina la distintiva combinación de teorías y enfoques que configuran la obra de Asenbaum y explora su contribución al replanteamiento del concepto y los fundamentos normativos de la representación descriptiva, en concreto, su posible implicación en la presencia de un yo múltiple mucho más complejo en la vida democrática actual. Finalmente, el artículo amplía la noción de Asenbaum del yo múltiple para incluir la variedad de intensidades políticas que cada individuo posee.
