Resumen
In the manufacture of conventional asphalt mixtures Colombia has generated particular interest in improving the mechanical properties of pavements and increase the life thereof by reducing the most common failure mechanisms presented in the structures of the asphalt pavement, by presence moisture. The physical behavior of Barrancabermeja 60-70 asphalt modified purified nano carbon compounds with different atomic ratios of Cu/Ni (0.1, 0.33,1 and 2) was analyzed. Additionally, the "stripping" effect suffering an asphalt layer in a pavement structure by the presence of moisture was evaluated, to achieve this to the adhesive and cohesive behavior is evaluated by the BBS test and calculating the surface free energy (ESL) these methodologies were performed on three aggregates frequently used for manufacturing asphalt mixes in Bogota. The results indicate improvement in the adhesion of the asphalt-aggregate interface compared with unmodified asphalt.
