Resumen
This article presents an overview of the most important trends in Colombian poetry between 1990 and 2012. The purpose is to highlight the stylistic and content characteristics that define the new voices in poetry and their bonds with previous generations. The work of the poets of the end of the twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty-first century shows five trends-self-critical and ironic, classical, baroque, narrative, and philosophical-which define their work. The article concludes with a reflection about the impact that these trends have had in some of the most representative poets of this period.
