title = "Numerical and experimental study on the use of a new security system for slab formwork in building construction",
abstract = "A special safety device has been developed to minimize the risk of falls when operations are being carried out at height, mainly when the formwork is being put in place before the concrete is poured to create the main building supports. The safety system is based on a moving telescopic support fixed within a metal holder sunk into the upper section of the columns and provides fixed points to the workers to be attached. A numerical and experimental study states the necessary conditions required of the concrete forming the column, so that the device can be used to provide total safety for the workers and guarantee the integrity of the columns.",
