Resumen

The text is about how the surrounding context of Ignatius of Loyola constructs the narrative architecture of the Spiritual Exercises, becoming a bet by the internal inquiry that supports the spiritual experience of the individual, carrier of the new spiritual conception of modern man. The fact that its production closes in the 16th century does not imply any anachronism today, on the contrary, the great discovery of Ignatius focuses on the methodology which supports it arose during a period in which man, a product of modernity which was preparing itself, began sketching strong secular traits, a key for Loyola in the preservation of the individual's spirituality. And to get it arranged to trigger different Renaissance and medieval legacies (generics, topographical, cultural, etc.) within a personal pace, converting these instructors' precedents of the life of Loyola in the greatest gain that intends to highlight this work, while accomplishing the reading of the literary narration of the individual from its unique Baroque style. It erects as a seed of experience in the Spiritual Exercises, and at the same time as a narrative challenge that produces in the individual the contextual understanding of its internal and external environment, which soon will be the object of discernment.
