Resumen
Science and technology provide both knowledge and undeniable welfare but, on their own, they do not provide any sense, utopia, guidance, support, vital power or hope when people face adversity, pain or death. This is why religion still has a prominent place and role in the lives of people: a role that has been studied since its origin by the classic psychology of religion. In times when sense, hope and utopias erode, it is necessary to rescue this function in order to build and guide the vital processes undergone by men and women in the 21st century.
