N2 - We used a detailed dengue classification to assess the variability in disease severity and outcomes in a cohort of patients classified as “dengue with warning signs” according to the 2009 World Health Organization (WHO) criteria. We describe a wide range of severity and outcomes, which highlights the need and potential to improve the current WHO dengue classification.
