Resumen
The journalist and director of a university radio station
José Vicente Arizmendi Correa, using the Greek figures of Chronos and
Kairos, reflects on the historical moment in which the majority of the
testimonios selected for the book’s chapters were produced, as well as on
the ‘right moment’ to produce a story or testimonio. Furthermore, he
emphasises certain ethical and methodological elements that emerge from
the discussions in the chapters, with the aim of highlighting their impor-
tance in the recovery of Memory. To complete the map of fragments of
testimonios located before, during and after the Peace Agreement, he con-
tributes other narratives collected in 2022 and 2023 for a documentary
series broadcast on the university radio station he directs. The addition of
these testimonios completes a linear, albeit unplanned trajectory in the book, which goes from 1985 to 2022.
