La présente invention se rapporte à une fraction bioactive de Petivería alliacea présentant une activité antitumorale et à l'utilisation de cette dernière pour la fabrication de médicaments pour le traitement du cancer. De plus, la présente invention comprend une combinaison pharmaceutique pour le traitement du cancer qui comprend la fraction bioactive de Petiveria alliacea et au moins un agent immunostimulant pouvant produire la maturation phénotypique et/ou fonctionnelle des cellules dendritiques.
