Study of a generalization of the averaged Hausdorff distance

Due to the failure of the standard averaged Hausdorff distance to be a metric, the introduction of a more flexible and robust indicator is highly desirable and the purpose of our project is precisely to study the metric properties and behavior of the new (p,q)-averaged Hausdorff distance which is our proposal for a good alternative that can counter some disadvantages of the standard one and provide enough flexibility to be used in a broader set of multiobjective optimization problems.
