This project pretends to find and get to know those first Graphic Designers that with their work and practice of design set the principles of this new form of expression and communication in the Colombian southwest region. In most of the cases, these designers ignored this condition of being the pioneers. Through the work of this early Colombian graphic designers of the southwest region, in the areas of advertisement, editorial design, branding, illustration, etc. we pretend to make an approach that allows us to understand the cultural background of the practice of Graphic Design in Colombia. also this project pretends to set an early record of the practice of design historiography in Colombia
