CarDiaBETES. ¿Enabling Big-Data Analytics Support Techniques for Enhancing the prevention and treatment of Cardiovascular Disorders in Diabetic patients and reduce healthcare burden. Coordinator University of Ulster (uk), and submitted cal H2020-MSCA ¿RISE-2018, project related with (WASCARD) project financed European Commission from 2016 -2018. Pontificia Universidad Javeriana was collaborating on this project and PUJ will continue the research process with CarDiaBETES project.A major concerning issue for public healthcare providers is the future challenge posed by cardiovascular disorders and diabetes; these have incidence and prevalence in the elderly (> 65 years), and obese population, and in particular for diabetic patients suffering advanced cardiac failure and atrial fibrillation, who are projected to increase in an aging population with obesity
