INFORMaL SETTLEMENTS CONSTRUCTION IN THE CITY IN CaLI: Siloe 1980 – 2012 (State of the art). Our interest in the informal city in Cali is to eventually consolidate to reach an understanding of their physical forms which allows us providing criteria for future urban interventions because we are convinced that the work on this problem must reach concrete proposals. Thus, from the field of urban architect specific intervention we propose to study an informal sector of Cali where we can see three different times (growth, consolidation and densification) the training process, the logic occupation and the results of this logic urban form, which can be verified in the consolidation of its layout and their internal and external links and highlights elements those who have tried to build her city or articulated with it. The Siloe sector located in the central hillside Cali for his history and meaning and academic dedication that has been the subject by various researchers and institutions in the last 30 years, but also by the lack of knowledge about her physical form, is a sector relevant to this research. We will focus on the period between 1980 and 2012 because, it is the space in which the sector has formed and established as a neighborhood.
