Isometric embeddings of Finsler metrics.

The aim of this project is twofold. The first part is to study the regularity of geodesics associated to Hölder continuous Finsler metrics on differentiable manifolds and to prove the optimality of that result by finding explicit examples where this regularity cannot be improved. Secondly, as a consequence of the previous step, a result on the optimality of path-isometric embeddings for these metrics is expected.}
