Environmental impacts and ecological change in the Páramo of central Colombia / Impactos ambientales y cambio ecológico en el páramo de la zona central de Colombia

1) To undertake a limnological survey of lakes located in the Parque Nacional de Los Nevados to establish their present ecological and chemical status and 2), to determine the regional impact of GEC processes by using dated sediment cores to reconstruct recent ecological change in both lakes and the surrounding paramo.
