Descripción
In this study we aim to examine the importance of different attributes (such as university quality, location, public vs private, amount of financial support and allowance) when high school senior students make higher education choices. Trade-offs among these attributes would be established, and predictions of uptake of different credits/scholarship packages produced. We will use Discrete choices experiments (DCE) method and plan to administrate surveys to about 12,000 low-income students along the 33 Colombian administrative regions. Information of students¿ preferences on credits/scholarship packages are of critical importance in designing appropriate and efficient high school financing interventions.
