Different initiatives for the economic development have focused their interest in entrepreneurial development in both developed and developing countries. This conception focused its interest on the question of how to achieve more momentum and better entrepreneurs. The study of the development of entrepreneurship from the perspective of entrepreneurial identity offers new key factors for their potential advancement. Recognizing the importance of the dynamic between the individual and social context for understanding the development of the entrepreneur, conceived in this case from its entrepreneurial identity. Deepening the understanding of the impact of entrepreneurial development, the dynamics between the social and the individual, will open new avenues for the development of programs to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit, surpassing the limited impact of merely instrumental programs. Influential factors will be identified in the entrepreneur in building entrepreneurial identity which enabled its action, all this through the study of 10 cases of entrepreneurs in the city of Cali.
