Despite continuous technological advances and the permanent supply of more and better administrative tools, management in organizations becomes more complex by virtue of the characteristics of resources that support organizations was the tangible assets and information systems, evaluation and monitoring models, management methods and projection methodologies had been built around them. Today there is no total control over enterprise’s resources and the only certainty we have is that organizations are immersed in a world characterized by uncertainty. Intangible assets are now the creators of value and they are the only ones capable of generating unique differentiators. The SME now more than ever require developments to be made based on their characteristics and needs, and these developments should allow them to manage their key intangible assets.
