Abstract
The present article is based in a biblical passage not always easy to interpret. Thus, the exegetic and hermeneutic proposal use the same words presented in the Gospel: Terms such as “sing” –semeion–, “glory” –doxa– and faith –pistis– give the interpretation key, the three expressions are developed, both, from a general and an specific perspective, in order to arrive to the conclusion of the narrow relationship between the signs of Jesus, the glory –which can be seen and it establishes a bridge between the Old and the New Testament– and the faith of those who experience it. Finally, it is considered how the overabundant character of the passage is link to God’s Revelation and how the place of the passage as a first sing announce important elements of the passion, death and resurrection passages.
