Abstract
Environmental degradation, extreme poverty, and other ills humanity faces are unacceptable for modern society. Significant advances have been made in the last century, but there remain challenges to reaching a world where the promises of sustainable development are a reality. In this chapter, we share the story of the Finance Group, a small and diverse group of scholars from Jesuit business schools around the globe who answered the call from the International Association of Jesuit Universities to change business education. In designing a Finance course aligned with sustainability concepts, we hope to inspire future generations of business professionals to excel in finance and become the socially minded leaders the world needs.
