Abstract
This article is the result of the research Use of Rainwater at the Javeriana University Campus in Bogota (PUJB): Characterization and Possible Uses, and has the objective of identify possible uses of rainwater as an alternative source on the PUJB campus. To achieve this objective, physicochemical and bacterial pollutant concentrations, their temporal variability and associated uncertainties were determined. Te maximum allowed levels of pollutant concentrations were determined and the infrastructural requirements for the use of rainwater for certain uses at the PUJB campus were established. Results indicate that maximum 14% percent of the overall demand will can be covered with the collected rainwater.
