Abstract

The method of lower and upper solutions was used to investigate the stability of periodic oscillations. A periodic problem was considered for the purpose and the lower and upper solution functions were defined. The problem was reduced to study the stability of the equilibrium for a differential equation, having new terms corresponding to the third degree of a specific function.
