Abstract
This article intends to understand Theology of history from the perspective of Theology of action. Applying the method of textual interpretation to human action allows to establish a parallel between meaningfully oriented action and the interpretation of texts based on three criteria: meaning fixed in time, semantic autonomy, and transcendent intentionality opened universally to interpretations. These criteria enable a theological approach to human action according to its historical effects, which reveal it as God's liberating action.
