Abstract

Este libro recrea de manera extensa y profunda cómo la sostenibilidad ambiental es un concepto que ha sido estudiado desde las diversas ciencias jurídicas. Estos análisis conducen a los/as autores/as a identificar y describir a fondo al menos tres retos estructurales. El primer reto hace referencia a la necesidad de resignificación integral del concepto de sostenibilidad, teniendo en cuenta todas las multiculturali-
dades globales. El segundo da cuenta de la importancia de entender la pobreza como consecuencia (no como causa) de los problemas ambientales globales. Y el tercero consiste en regular e implementar la sostenibilidad de tal manera que se logren mayores materializaciones y mejores mediciones de sus logros y eficiencias.
