Abstract
In this article, we introduce the historical foundation and legal issues of the indigenous movement in Colombia. Subsequently, we allude to how the progress of insurrection politics occurs, describing the way in which the collectivization of the indigenous communities is evident. In conclusion, we offer an interpretation regarding the experiences of ethnic identity and we will introduce the topic of exploitation of identity in the framework of social justice. We will also discuss the transformative potential of these process in respect to the continual search of a standard of justice that make social and cultural survival possible for the indigenous groups in Colombia.
