Abstract
In recent years a particular type of video games, where certain social problems are portrayed inviting the player to think about them, have emerged. This articletstates some of the most important findings of the study of this phenomenon which provide some clues about how video games produce meaning,.gFollowing this trend it focuses on some principles of design through a case study that accounts for the development of a videogame of this nature, which seeks to draw attention on the problem of social inequality. The analysis structure conducted, along with some methodological aspects considered for the video game designed, are contributions for anyone interested in this field.
