Abstract

Using a qualitative methodology, this chapter reflects on ecclesial and educational practices in Colombia. The critical analysis of the general framework proposed by the Congregation for Catholic Education on the teaching of the religious dimension gives rise to a confrontation between identity and religious transformations in Colombian society. It also reflects on how religious teaching in the classroom dialogues with the plural reality of society.
