Abstract

The idea of disciplinary improvement in nursing has an inseparable link with the notion of practice. That is to say, nursing that seeks to generate an autonomous practice requires, without a doubt, substantive disciplinary knowledge that is at the same time sufficiently adaptable to address the problems of health care for human beings. It could be said then that the practice of nursing care is complex and requires multiple competencies that respond to diverse demands related to aspects of health processes in different vital stages. It is for this reason that the contribution proposed in this text, called Analysis routes for nursing narratives from the theoretical-empirical conceptual system as a tool for teaching-learning (runas), is useful not only for the teaching-learning of students, which is the primary intention of the authors, but also for nursing professionals who wish to objectively ensure the improvement of practice based on disciplinary knowledge.
