Abstract

This paper inquires about the discourse of extractive development, which is facilitated by juridical frameworks of illegality. This dis-course collides with views and practices of local development in the Remanso Chorrobocon Indigenous Mining Area. The theoretical fra-mework intersects critical development studies, political ecology and legal pluralism. And the methodology complements media coverage, norms review, primary and secondary literature review, participant observation, and field work in Inirida and the Indigenous Mining Area.
