Abstract

The confinement processes emerging in the pandemic made in the psychotherapy settings and in the psychotherapists, challenges, possibilities, learnings and flexibilities of a new development settings. This research sets out the understandings of the lived experience in the exercise of virtual psychotherapy of seven clinical psychologists, who through autoethnographic, conversational and reflexive processes, expose the learning and challenges that were had from the person of the therapist and from the intervention scenario. The information obtained was organized into the categories: emergence of new reasons for consultation in pandemic, therapeutic strategies, new modes of relationship and therapeutic challenges. It is concluded that the experience of virtual psychotherapeutic care in times of pandemic creates processes of adaptation to new forms of intervention, making visible the importance of social relationships, possibilities of technology in the clinical context and self-referential processes of the therapist.
