Abstract
The objective of this article is to study the actions carried out by the intellectuals Edgar Leuenroth in Brazil and Ignacio Torres Giraldo in Colombia, to organize and direct two editorial projects that became epicenters of leftist culture during the first decades of the 20th century. It analyzes how these editorial projects (La Humanidad and A Plebe) became axes of leftist culture based on their role in the appropriation of leftist ideas during the time. Methodologically, a comparative exercise is proposed, presenting the similarities and differences of editorial projects, which allow continuing the methodological and historiographical dialogue on editorial projects and the formation of left-wing culture in Latin America.
