Protocolo de manejo de la crisis asmática en niños en el servicio de urgencias del Hospital Universitario San Ignacio

Asthmatic crisis is an episode of progressive deterioration with respiratory difficulty that affects almost 5% to 10% of the childhood population. Based on medical history and physical exam, we classify a degree of severity (light, moderate, severe) and according with this, apply a better approach, improve hypoxemia and restore pulmonary function, and make an adequate plan for long-term management.
