Abstract
This proceeding presents earthquake response and design spectra for rock basement for the hill zones in Bogotá, spectra were calculated for 475, 1000 and 2000 year interval, in order to be used in analysis of conventional structures. We used 32 horizontal and 14 vertical ground motions, for simulate the stochastic phenomena. Ground motions were selected to be representative of earthquakes that could suffer the city of Bogotá(Guaicáramo fault system), these parameters are: recorded in rock, epicentral distances similar that are supposed that could affect this part of the city, similar magnitudes for the interval periods, peak ground accelerations and frequency signal characteristics similar with Colombian seismic sources.
