Abstract

The purpose of the investigation is to identify the employee’s perception
about psychosocial factors of work in a financial company after a merger, in
the same place where the research and professional practice took place. This
is a non-experimental investigation, with transactional descriptive design. The
participants were 20 employees from different areas with more than four years
of experience in the company. A questionnaire designed by the author was
used, and the result obtained was a middle level of psychosocial perception
of the fusion. The psychosocial factors found were: motivation, commitment,
participation, and stress. All of the factors had influence over the employee’s
discharge, productivity levels, and their ability to complete assignments.
