Abstract
The principle objective of this article will be to identify lessons useful for Colombian reconciliation and peace in an armed post-conflict scenario through analysis of the Peruvian experience and of its Truth and Reconciliation Commission (CVR by its Spanish acronym). Best practices as well as errors committed in the conception, development and implementation of the Peruvian CVR will be considered as a basis for evaluation as well as for projecting the “Commission for Clarification of Truth, Coexistence and Non-Repetition” in Colombia, as an instrument of reconciliation.
