Abstract
Innovation affects the productive structures of countries and has become an essential element for the development of scientific policies and their integral development in function of society. However, there are still deficiencies related to the complexity of the process, the resources available and the associated methodologies for organizations to obtain successful results. Therefore, understanding the dimensions of this process requires the analysis and understanding of the results that are presented in the scientific production of research. In this sense, the objective of this work was to evaluate the behavioral patterns of research on innovation in Cuba, registered in the Web of Science, based on the use of bibliometric indicators of production, collaboration and impact, and the contribution of this research to the Sustainable Development Goals, in the period 2010 to 2022, using tools such as VOSviewer and Biblioshiny. Some of the results obtained, such as the average annual growth rate of 36.6% in mainly national journals and the co-authorship index of 3.14 authors per document, indicate little association in the contributions. In turn, the most used terms in the research are related to evaluation and participation in innovation processes. The above contributes to improving the management of the country's policy on science, technology and innovation, and can be an input for the generation of new knowledge in the different sectors where innovation processes are carried out.
