Abstract
Introduction: Cases of autoimmune pathologies with onset after infection by the SARS-CoV-2 virus have been described. The causal relationship is not yet clear. Case presentation: We report the case of a 44-year-old woman who, 18 days after presenting with SARS-CoV-2 infection without hypoxaemia, presented with a clinical picture compatible with a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. Conclusion: This case reinforces the possibility of a causal relationship between both entities.
