On optimal and predictive controls for switched systems subject to mixed control-state constraints

Abstract

Hybrid Dynamical Systems (HDS) are useful to analyse complex systems; however, they may include state and input constraints. Additionally, the study of control techniques might be difficult. In this paper, optimal control laws are proposed for two kinds of switched systems: Switched Systems with Controlled Switchings and Switched Systems with Autonomous Switchings. Then, predictive control laws are obtained and some examples are shown for the first class of systems.
