Abstract
In this book, we present several findings associated with the automatic phenotyping of
sugarcane and rice crops, from morphological down to molecular traits, along with a few
contributions to soil microbiomics and to the development of valuable tools to improve
agricultural practices and ultimately ensure food security and human health in the future.
