Abstract
The aim of this article is to put into operation the correlational hermeneutics of Edward Schillebeeckx in its double movement: human questions-answers from revelation. As a platform for the interdisciplinary approach to the human problem of the search for meaning. In this case two authors: a Viennese psychiatrist Viktor Frankl and a Belgian theologian Edward Schillebeeckx will discuss and contribute to the clarification of a question that affects many people today. An experience in a concentration camp and the theological and contextual interpretation of the Gospel will contribute from their hermeneutic cores to answer the why of existence. In the end, both authors will converge in love as the open horizon of fullness towards which all human beings are called to journey.
