Abstract
The following article aims to contextually locate the words of Jesus in Jn 20, 19-21, in the context of the conflict that develops throughout the Gospel between Jesus and his adversaries. Likewise, to emphasize that there is a resour-ce to memory, an approach to the conflict, to the peace that Jesus offers and the signs of peace that the evangelist pre-sents. The foregoing, with the aim of highlighting the need to reread peace for the current reality, according to the Gospel, which bets on inclusion and the value of diversity.
