Abstract
In view of the urgency of an integrative formation of the dimensions proper to Christian life aimed at the laity in contexts of non-formal education, mystagogy is constituted as a pedagogy of theology that responds to this dynamic in the transmission of the faith. Its characterization is developed through the structuring of the elements from Neoplatonism, identification in the catechumenal and liturgical sphere, consolidation as a process of personalization, and pedagogical praxis.
