Abstract
The author exposes how the cross-border insolvency has been treated in Colombian Law, especially in Law 1116 of 2.006, known as new Colombian Insolvency Regime. Then, he analyzes the utility and future implications of those rules. The objective of this article is to make an evaluation of the positive and negative aspects of the incorporation of UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-Border Insolvency in Colombian Law.
