Abstract
This articles seeks to describe the way in which Gregory of Nisa conceived spirituality and the way in which he made an effort to give it a solid foundation in order to promote life within the Holy Spirit, both to his parishioners and his inherited monastic communities: Macrina and Basilio. This exercise places the context of literary labor in a mystic and spiritual perspective, considers the comprehension of spirituality as constant growth based on the category of Epéktasis, and in it, presents the anthropological foundations that sustain and describe its central elements.
