Abstract
This paper does part of a work of doctoral investigation that has as aim study, the problematic ones that are woven in the relation between literature and violence in Colombia, from the study of four novels that recreate the drug trafficking and that have been published in the last twenty years. In this work especially there will be exposed how the violence is constructed as significant in La virgen de los sicarios (1994) of Fernando Vallejo.
